Join us at Bunjil Place for a free community event celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures as part of National Reconcilation Week.
This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, Bridging Now to Next, is a call for all Australians to reflect on our shared history and work towards stronger connections.
The event will include:
- 4.00 pm - Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
- 4.15 pm - Flag Raising Ceremony
- 5.00 pm - Activities including storytime at Bunjil Place Library (bookings required), a variety of hands-on cultural activities, Community Canvas art project, choir performance, colouring in and kids' craft activities.
- 5.30 pm - Live music performance by Charlie Needs Braces
- 6.45 pm - Screening of The Last Daughter in Library (bookings required)
