ART+CLIMATE=CHANGE Flick: Accelerate

In the wake of the IPCC’s urgent new report demanding drastic action to halt global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, 350.org Australia has made a film that shows Australians how they can fight for no new fossil fuel projects, push for a fast and fair transition to 100% renewable energy, and ensure not a dollar more is spent on dirty energy.

Accelerate follows 350.org's founder Bill McKibben's 2018 tour of Australia, where he demanded accelerated climate action by our government, businesses and communities.

Bill is considered as one of the most acclaimed environmental activists in the US. In Australia, Bill visited the Great Barrier Reef, the Galilee basin, and some of the low carbon solution projects underway in Adelaide.
