As part of the Casey Winter Arts Festival we have recorded six local music acts against a green screen and partnered them with some of Australia’s top visual artists to create sonic and visual magic! Exhibiting each day at 4.00pm throughout the Winter Arts Festival 14 June – 14 July.

Breanne Peters
Breanne Peters is a gifted and talented musician/singer-songwriter based in Tooradin. She began classical piano and classical guitar at age 3, by age 7 she was learning acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, and voice and at age 8 her love and passion for music lead her to public performances and song writing. Breanne graduated at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS) in 2021 where she studied Classical and Jazz guitar. She plays a variety of genres but her passion is for her Māori culture and she incorporates this in her song writing. Many of her songs are in Te Reo Maori, the indigenous language of New Zealand.

subpixel is a multimedia artist and vision production specialist based in Sydney. His style of VJing is typically layered, striving for a feeling of visual depth, and creating looks that are based on compositing technique or treatment more so than specific content, allowing for the importation and expression of various themes and subject matter from found footage to live camera feeds of stage performers. subpixel is also tinkerer, ever curious about making things work, and advocates for reusing older technology in creative projects.
Recent appearances include VJ performances at Subsonic Music Festival (NSW), NYE at Parramatta Park with Sneaky Sound System (Sydney), Rabbits Eat Lettuce festival (QLD), South East Block Party (Sydney), Sutra Sunrise (Sydney), and for Youngr live at Arq (Sydney).
