Location
Nora Heysen established her own reputation becoming the first woman to win the Archibald Prize and to be appointed an Australian official war artist during the Second World War.
Join us for an exclusive night of culture and history. Together with Nora Heysen’s official biographer Author Anne-Louise Willoughby, we will bring this important artist’s story to light within the wonderful atmosphere of the Archibald Prize.
The event will feature a drink on arrival, author talk, an opportunity for book signing, light refreshments, and exclusive access to the Archibald Prize 2022 exhibition - accompanied by the exhibition curator.
Attendees will have the opportunity to continue their literature journey on the night by signing up for a Casey Cardinia Library membership. Membership will grant you access to a rich repertoire of books, both online and at all Casey Cardinia libraries.
