Immerse yourself in the future of art and design from our local region, and witness the next wave of artists, designers, film makers and photographers at Emergent 2024: Graduate Exhibition.
Presented annually at Bunjil Place, Emergent 2024: Graduate Exhibition celebrates the creative achievements of VCE students and provides a platform for emerging artists, designers and film makers from our local region. Selected from over 120 submissions, the 27 artists, designers and film makers exhibited in Emergent 2024: Graduate Exhibition work across a range of mediums, sharing their challenges and concerns, but also their ideas and solutions to problems.

Emergent 2024: Graduate Exhibition was co-curated by three year 11 students working alongside Bunjil Place Gallery curatorial staff; Lacie Abdelrehim, Kambrya College; Grace Minty, Cranbourne Secondary College and Giordy Muleta, Gleneagles College.

Emergent Showcase partner, Monash University, is proud to support an exceptional emerging talent with a unique prize to help elevate their artistic journey. The prize will be awarded at the Emergent Visual Arts launch and is designed to nurture the winner's growth. The prize includes:

- 3 x Mentoring Sessions with a professional expert in the field.

- 1 session face-to-face, offering personalised guidance and tailored insights.
