Floribunda blooms at Bunjil Place
Our 2025 autumn program comes to life with Floribunda at the centrepiece - an exhibition organised by Bunjil Place in partnership with the National Gallery of Victoria, and curated by David Sequeira.
The title, Floribunda, Latin for many-flowering is a hybrid of ‘flower’ and ‘abundance’.
The exhibition Floribunda, a major partnership between the National Gallery of Victoria and Bunjil Place, is an intoxicating larger-than-life mashup of floral imagery, design and motif drawn exclusively from the NGV Collection, and opens on Saturday 29 March.
To celebrate the opening of our Floribunda exhibition, the Bunjil Place Precinct will bloom with abundant florals at our Opening Night Gala on Friday 28 March.
Come dressed in your floral best and enjoy an exclusive evening of art, food and performance, including exhibitions and unique displays inspired by Floribunda. Featuring artist-led flower installations, pop-up performances, DJs, and exhibitions by local artists, this evening promises to be an unforgettable celebration profiling the vibrancy of arts in our region.
And the floral exploration doesn't stop at Bunjil Place - across the City of Casey we are hosting a number of programs, activities and events that will immerse you in the natural world.
