This compelling and imaginative collection of animations from the Master of Animation, Games and Interactivity at RMIT University has been selected from the program’s end of year Expo 2023, featuring a dynamic and diverse range of work including final projects, short form animations and other playful experiments. The MAGI program integrates studio-based teaching as the foundation of a student’s experience and encourages experimentation and deep reflection on their own practice. This collection showcases a wide assortment of creative and critical concepts and subjects that students explored in realising their animated visions; from social and cultural explorations, personal expressions and stories to poetic and experimental forms of expression.
