Construction Update April 2016

Work since early March include:

• The first stage of concrete (the basement slab) has been poured, part of the 10,700 cubic metres of concrete required for the job.
• The first of the approximately 1,000 pre-cast concrete panels, forming the building structure, have been installed.
• You may have seen the first tower crane which arrived on site last month (and lights up at night!) and a second, smaller crane is on its way. Together these cranes will help move material around the site safely and efficiently.
• Many trade packages have been procured including electrical, plumbing, civil works, structural concreting, fire services and more.
