Hours of operation may change due to afterhours performances and public holidays.
Call (03) 9709 9700 to confirm opening hours before your visit. To ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit to Bunjil Place we ask that you note our Conditions of Entry.
Wednesday 25 December 2024 (Christmas Day), Thursday 26 December 2024 (Boxing Day) and Wednesday 1 January 2025 (New Year's Day) are all public holidays, and the Bunjil Place precinct will be closed on those days.
Between Friday 27 December 2024 and Sunday 5 January 2025, our usual operating hours may vary. Please check below for the specific operating hours of each area of the precinct.
The Bunjil Place precinct will return to normal operating hours from Monday 6 January, with the exception of the Bunjil Place library, which will remain closed until Monday 13 January due to maintenance.

Our Bunjil Place Gallery will be closed on Wed 25 Dec, Thu 26 Dec 2024, and from Mon 30 Dec until Wed 1 Jan 2025.
The Bunjil Place Gallery will be operating with limited hours on Fri 27, Sat 28, Sun 29 Dec 2024, and Thu 2, Fri 3, Sat 4 & Sun 5 Jan 2025, from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm.
Usual Gallery operating hours will resume on Tues 7 Jan 2025.

In addition to the café general trading hours, Bunjil Place Café is open 1 hour pre-show and during intervals for all theatre performances.
The Bunjil Place Café will be closed from Wed 25 Dec 2024 until Thu 2 Jan 2025, reopening on Fri 3 Jan 2025.
Bunjil Place Library
The Bunjil Place Library will be closed from Mon 30 Dec 2024 until Mon 13 Jan 2025 for maintenance.
