Young Archie Making Hub

Location
After a visit to the Archibald Prize, budding artists and their families can spend time exploring their own creativity at the Young Archie Making Hub.
Designed as a space for creative types of all ages, the Making Hub invites creative exploration through activities and ideas. Artist Blak Douglas has created Anatomy of a Cloud, a making activity for all to enjoy while visiting the Archibald Prize.
Over the past two decades Blak Douglas has developed a style of landscape painting rich with symbolism and metaphor. One distinct element within his paintings is the 'flat bottomed cloud', featured in his Archibald Prize winning portrait of Karla Dickens. In this activity, Blak instructs on how to create a cloud in his unique style.
Free in the Studio.
