The Lineup
Douglas Lim (Malaysia)
Synonymous with comedy in Malaysia, Douglas’ wit and comedic observations have garnered numerous awards locally and regionally including Best Actor in a Comedy in the Asian Television Awards. Douglas has also earned himself a spot in The Malaysian Book of Records for his outstanding viewership reach on social media.
MC Stuart Daulman
Stuart has been performing both on stage and in front of the camera for over 20 years. In 2018 he received the Moosehead Award with his show Death of a Daulman and his recent TV credits include Five Bedrooms, Rosehaven, The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, Hamish and Andy’s True Story, Utopia and award-winning sketch comedy show Fancy Boy.
Urvi Majumdar
Urvi is a comedian, writer, actor and producer who has enjoyed a sold-out Melbourne International Comedy Festival season of her first solo show Urvi Went to an All Girls' School. You can see Urvi in 2 seasons of Channel 9's comedy series Metrosexual, look out for her in the recent season of ABC's critically acclaimed Fisk and hear her on Triple R Radio.
Samuel Gebreselassie
Samuel is an up-in-coming comedian whose act brings a critical and fresh voice to comedy and social commentary. He was born in Sudan to Ethiopian parents, spent the majority of his life in New Zealand and now lives in Australia. This unorthodox upbringing in an Ethiopian Orthodox family shaped a perceptive of the world that’s unique and hilarious.
He Huang (China)
Originally from a small town in southwest China, He got her masters in the US then abandoned real work for live comedy. In 2021 she was RAW Comedy National Finalist and was selected for Comedy Zone in the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2022. She has recently been on Australia's Got Talent and her audition was a global viral hit accumulating more than 60-million views on various social media platforms.
