Every place has a soul. Every street has a story.
In this workshop, we will commune with our inner worlds in relation to our physical environment, as basis for writing poetry. We will undertake an improvised walk, create emotional cartography and write poems pulled from between psyche and space. We will discuss memory, daydream and emotion inspired by architecture, signage, trees and flowers; as well as what constitutes the spirit of a place, and the spirit of a poem.
