Residents share ideas for the community plaza

We've been busy asking the community what type of events they’d like to attend at the outdoor community plaza, and what they’d like to see on the big outdoor screen, when Bunjil Place opens!

335 people responded and the events they most wanted were:

• live music and entertainment (25%)
• children’s activities (22%)
• markets (21%).

As for the big screen, respondents most wanted to see:

• live sports
• movies and children’s shows
• and music concerts

Popular responses also included showing football games and the Olympics, movie premieres, screening Indigenous or other cultural movies, kids movies, screening live concerts and Christmas carols.

We look forward to bringing you as many of these experiences as possible when the facility opens in late-2017!
