Local kids run (not too far) to join the circus

Not only were we treated to an awesome display of mad circus skills and some seriously amazing feats of balance and strength, but a bunch of local kids got in on the act too.

You see, at Bunjil Place last summer Circus Oz ran some free circus skills workshops for kids. Then they came back again these school holidays for some gettin’-serious masterclass workshops, which has led to these super-talented Casey kids getting the chance to put their new-found circus skills to the test in front of an audience. We were as proud as punch to see them develop a special routine that they performed onstage to open the Circus Oz show here on Friday night.

So not only did we enjoy some major world-class entertainment from Circus Oz right here at Bunjil Place (shout-out thanks to our presenting partner for Model Citizens, Zeemo), but the whole shebang was kicked off by Casey’s own homegrown talent. So. Very. Awesome.
