Alkira SC: Hanging on the Bottom of the World

Alkira Secondary College students take you on an unconventional journey of the British chapter of our early history. Peopled with eccentric characters, Aussie icons and a rollicking interpretation of how the British won over the colonies.  

This is a short play with big characters, broad history and political antics. Alive with historical characters, squabbling states and rejected brides, it going to be a hilarious history lesson you'll never forget!

Directed by Russell Fletcher, written by Barry Kay, this production has been licensed through the Australian Script Centre.
