Jump In: Free Hip Hop Session

Jump In is a free hip-hop event created by local emerging hip-hop artists designed to get local peeps fired up about hip-hop. Whether you're taking part in the workshops or just want to come down and check out the vibe, all are welcome.

Drop-in to our hip-hop workshops and finesse your rhythmic rhymes and test them out with our open mic session, before stepping into the cypher comp arena!

Drop in Workshops Friday 17 May 2019

• Rap Workshop 6.10 pm - 6.50 pm
  Learn to improvise, identify your punchlines and create your unique freestylin flow.
   
• Dance Workshop 6.10 pm - 6.50 pm
  Learn pop, lock, krump, old school and new wave dance styles from the pros.
   
• Open Mic 7.05 pm - 7.55 pm
  If you had one opportunity, would you take it? This is your chance to perform in front of an audience of hip-hop enthusiasts. You better lose yourself!
   
• Cypher Competition 8.00 pm - 9.00 pm
  Step inside the urban circle and show us what you got. The winner gets time in a real recording studio to sharpen up their demo tape.
