Accessible Seating

Bunjil Place is an inclusive venue and provides a range of services and facilities to assist those with mobility difficulties and accessibility needs. 

The Theatre and Studio spaces have the following accessible services:

  • Wheelchair and companion seating;
  • Easy access seating with limited stairs;
  • Lift access;
  • Vision Impaired seating;
  • Hearing Loop in the Stalls area;
  • Companion Card Scheme
  • Accessible toilets;

Service Fees

A Service Fee of $3.00 applies to bookings made online or by phone (unless specified otherwise). An additional $1.00 postage fee will also apply if ticket postage is selected.

Companion Card Scheme

Bunjil Place supports the Companion Card program and admits carers to ticketed events and performances as complimentary guests.

A valid Companion Card or valid Companion Card number must be produced at the time of the booking, time of ticket collection or on request to gain access to the Companion Card Scheme offer.

The Companion Ticket is not valid unless the cardholder is present.

Gift Vouchers

Bunjil Place Gift Vouchers are available to purchase online or via our Box Office. View more information or purchase here. 

Lost Tickets

If your ticket is lost or damaged please call the Bunjil Place Ticketing Services team on 9709 9700 to arrange reprinting. Note the replacement of tickets may incur an additional fee.

Children’s Tickets

Our standard venue policy is that children under the age of 2 years do not require a ticket if seated on the lap of their carer. This may vary on some events, so please refer to the individual price-type description for each event prior to booking. If unsure, please contact the Box Office on 9709 9700 or [email protected].

Running Times

Information on performance running times will be listed online if known. Please be aware this information is subject to change and may not be available until closer to the performance date.

Content Warnings and Special Effects

Some performances may contain strong language and adult themes, or theatrical effects such as haze, pyrotechnics or strobe lighting. When these are known in advance, this information will be provided on our website and signage will be displayed at the venue.

Phone and Camera Use

Unless otherwise stated in the event information, the use of cameras and other photographic or recording equipment (including mobile phones) is not permitted during performances in the Theatre and Studio. If unsure, please check with venue staff prior to the performance starting.

Latecomers

If you arrive late to a performance it can be disruptive to the performers on stage and to other audience members. Because of this you may be asked to wait until a suitable time in the performance before you are permitted to enter the venue.
