Zines, music & mental health: A conversation with Don't Fret Club & Jess Locke

Hours

2.00 pm

Location

Bunjil Place Gallery

Have you heard Jess Locke’s gorgeous folk-pop songs played on Triple J? Well now you can hear this Melbourne-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist play live at Bunjil Place Gallery, right after she has a friendly chat with Don’t Fret Club host Jess Hope (yes, that’s two Jess’s!) They’ll talk about all sorts of things, including music and mental health, and record it all live for a Don’t Fret Club podcast.

Don’t Fret Club is a positive mental health initiative helping to promote good wellbeing within the music industry and beyond. Through podcasts and other creative platforms such as zines, Don’t Fret Club aims to start a positive and inclusive conversation around mental health.

So come along to this free event – no charge, no booking required. While you’re at the Gallery, check out the awesome exhibition Self-Made: Zines and Artist Books – it’s also free!

Recommended for ages 15 to 34.
