A bold new take on Pride and Prejudice created by the award-winning theatre team, Bloomshed.
Build from the depths of the housing crisis, this adaptation sees Austen’s classic re-imagined for 2025. It’s fierce. It’s funny. It’s all about fortune. Pride and Prejudice is a hilarious romp through the plush halls of the filthy rich.
Marriage equals security, at least that’s what Mrs. Bennet thinks. But her five daughters can’t seem to get that through their heads. Jane and Elizabeth want to marry for love (whatever that means). Mary’s stuck in a goth phase, Lydia is taking a “more is more” approach to the local militia and Kitty’s... well, we don’t need to talk of Kitty. To top it all off, Mr. Bennet is a potted monstera. With the odds firmly stacked against them, how will the Bennett’s maintain their precarious position on the property ladder?
