Night MODE is for all – a vibrant evening featuring creative workshops, live performances, a curated short film program, and opportunities for social connection. It’s a celebration of art’s power to unite us, transcending boundaries to celebrate what makes us unique and what brings us together.

Let the spirit of this story inspire your designs, as you weave together nature and culture in a celebration of artistry.
WORKSHOP: Lei Making and Storytelling with Grace Vanilau
Lei making and gifting are an expression of love and acknowledgement, across the Moana Pasifika.
This activation invites you to weave and reflect on the prayers and aspirations you have for those you will be gifting your lei. How are we as creatives weaving narratives that not only advance ourselves but the greater collective? How are we sharing resources and respecting creatives and communities from diverse backgrounds and worldviews? Join us as we explore ideas of reciprocity and care.

LIVE MUSIC: CANISHA

Melbourne-based artist Canisha is a soulful singer and lyricist whose music blends pop sensibilities with soulful flavour, marked by emotive storytelling and captivating vocals. A proud First Nations artist, her debut EP DON'T BE SCARED (2024) showcases her confident and lush pop sound. Inspired by artists like Adele and Harry Styles, Canisha uses music to overcome social anxiety and connect with audiences. With mentorship from renowned artists like Candice Lorrae, Bumpy, and Tasman Keith, Canisha creates music that resonates, offering connection and joy.
