Kids Day Out

Get ready for a delightful day under the summer sun at Summer Stage’s Kids Day Out, a free event designed to bring joy and entertainment to children and families! Join us for a day filled with fun activities including face painting, craft workshops, and roving entertainment.  

The day kicks off with doors opening at 9.30 am, followed by a dynamic stage program that evolves throughout the day. Start with engaging early years children programming and progress to activities perfect for older kids and families. Enjoy an enchanting story time session with Connected Libraries, the delightful performance by Hey Dee Ho, and the energetic Kids Disco Party. The excitement builds with Beats Bingo, adding a musical twist to the traditional bingo game.  

As we gather in the open air, we remind everyone to be sun smart. Please remember the 5 S’ of sun protection- Slip on protective clothing, Slop on sunscreen, Slap on a hat, Seek shade, and Slide on sunglasses. Dressing appropriately for the summer heat will help ensure a comfortable and enjoyable day for all.

For your convenience, a kiosk will be available on-site offering a variety of refreshments and snacks. Stay hydrated and get ready for a fun-filled day of music, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

10:00 am-10.45 am: Storytime with Connected Libraries (early years 0-5)
10.55 am-11.25 am: Kids Disco Party (all ages)
11.35 am-12.35 pm: Hey Dee Ho Concert (early years 0-6)  
12.45 pm-1.15 pm: Kids Disco Party (family friendly)
1.30 pm-3.00 pm: Beats Bingo (family friendly)
