Sophian
Fuelling an unstoppable rise through the Perth music scene, Sophian has been a wonder to follow with their genre-defying sound and infectious stage presence. From consistent sold-out headline shows to Triple J unearthed ‘Feature Artist of the Week’, and a 2024 WAM song of the year award for their single ‘Beautiful Day’ in the pop category, it is clear that their prominent rise in the national and international audience cannot be prevented.

Their frontman Soph Manik anchors the band with his raw passion and drive for the industry alongside his talent for song writing and emotive vocal range. Julia Krsanac on Bass, Tyler Vivian on Drums, and Michael Madafferi on Guitar form a cohesive unit that explores the intersection of Indie-Rock and Pop, influenced by Coldplay, Jeff Buckley, Kings of Leon, and local friends Spacey Jane.

After inking a global publishing agreement with Perfect Pitch Publishing, they completed their first ever Australian tour in early 2024, including a performance at Nannup Music Festival and a nomination for the festival's Emerging Artists Award. The band now prepare to release their debut EP, starting with  ‘Million Miles’, the first track release featuring their good friend Nadene Burchell from King Ibis.
