Are you aged between 16 & 21? Want to develop your music career? This songwriting and production workshop is for you!
We are looking for 16 young people in the Casey and surrounding areas interested in playing music, song writing and production. You will work over 2 days with some of Australia’s most exciting hitmakers to collaborate, write and record original songs from scratch and gain direct insight into music industry careers.
Free lunch + showbag of goodies provided.
This is a free workshop but you must apply.

Meet our mentors:
Reggie Banks
Sebastian Morales is an electronic musician and producer from Sydney. Bearing the stage name Reggie Banks, Sebastian is driven by nostalgia and melodic beauty, creating bold and undeniably catchy hip-hop style beats. With his unrelenting loyalty to the past and his passion for the future, Sebastian sits on the cusp of two worlds, creating an entirely new audible experience for his audience. Using different beat machines, samplers and synths, he weaves intricate melodic riffs over strong beats. In addition to his passion for performing, Sebastian also loves working in the studio. With an engineering background, Sebastian has collaborated and produced for multiple local and international artists.
Al Parkinson
A passionate and enthusiastic advocate for the music community, Al Parkinson has worked in the music industry for over 10 years. Beginning as a songwriter and self-managed artist, she has continued to develop her own career as an artist whilst simultaneously working across various other fields; including artist management, tour management, community radio, event management, teaching, mentoring, photography, and for Victoria’s peak body for contemporary music, Music Victoria. She cares about social justice, mental health, and the environment and has love for film photography, comedy, and spending time near the ocean.
Ninajirachi
A finalist in triple j’s Unearthed High competition in both 2016 and 2017, Ninajirachi has been punching above her weight in the world of electronic producing and performing ever since. Her debut single, “Pure Luck (feat. Freya Staer)”, topped the Spotify Australia Viral Charts, received support from Zane Lowe Beats1 and was added to high rotation on triple j. On the live circuit, Nina has toured with Mallrat, What So Not, Hermitude, Crooked Colours and has performed at Falls, Listen Out Festival, Splendour in the Grass and Groovin' the Moo. Beyond her own releases, Nina has produced remixes for deadmau5 & The Neptunes, Flight Facilities and Hermitude
