City of Casey Electric Vehicle Expo Test Drive

Enhance your visit at this year's City of Casey EV expo by pre-booking an EV test drive.

Please arrive at the 'Pre-booked test drive' sign located near Patrick Northeast Drive, Narre Warren, 5 minutes before your time slot. If you are more than 5 minutes late your booking will be cancelled.

Prior to the test drive, drivers must provide a valid driver's licence and meet any terms and conditions set by the car dealer.

A car dealer will travel in the car for the test drive on the pre-determined route shown in the map below. Up to three other passengers (over the age of 12) may travel in the back seat during the test drive.

Only one pre-booked test drive per driver. Multiple bookings will be cancelled.

There will be two other EVs available to test drive at the expo that do not require a booking.
 

FAQs 
Is there a cost to test drive?
No, there is no cost to test drive an EV at the Expo. There is also no cost to attend the expo or seminars.

Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, prior to the test drive you will be required to sign a waiver stating you understand the conditions of test driving a car. This is the same waiver you would sign if you were test driving a vehicle at a car dealership.

Can other people travel in the car with me?
Yes, you can bring up to three other passengers with you during the test drive. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to travel in the car during a test drive. Children's car seats or restraints are not permitted.

Can I drive anywhere I want?
No, to ensure all test drives are the same and keep to the pre-booked schedule, a pre-determined route must be followed (see map above). If you wish to do a longer drive, please speak to the dealer to arrange a second test drive from their dealership.

Can I do multiple test drive?
You can only pre-book ONE test drive of either the Huyndai Kona, MG4 or BMW i4. However, there will be a Tesla and Mercedes-Benz available to test drive on the day. These two cars do not require bookings and can be driven multiple times.

How long will the test drive take?
Pre-booked test drives are 15 minutes. The actual drive time is between 5 and 10 minutes depending on traffic.
