Celebrating Me: Online art workshop – Abstract Self Portrait

In this week's workshop, artist Tash Brennfleck will provide a space for attendees to explore their inner creative spirit and create an abstract self-portrait. Reflecting appearance, feelings, and/or experiences by experimenting with variety of different contemporary drawing techniques. These methods include, ‘Mindful Marking’, ‘Blind-Contouring’, and understanding the importance of composition in abstract works.

Wednesday Night Workshop: Jewellery Making

Artist Sammy Trist from Baluk Arts in Mornington, will lead a string necklace making workshop. Sammy uses Mookaite Jasper crystal which is only found in Western Australia. Mookaite Jasper crystal is popular around the world because of its many healing properties.

This workshop is suitable for people aged 18+. Materials and light refreshments included in the ticket price

Monster Masks: Family Art-making Workshop

Using recycled materials and household items such as masking tape and scissors, participants will have the opportunity to create their own unique Halloween costume item. Accompanied by visual stimulus and mask making inspiration, young people and their families will be able to make the mask of their wildest dreams using cardboard as a base.

2021 Carers Day Out (Online)

'Carers Day Out' is a way of celebrating the outstanding contribution of unpaid carers in our community.

The day will provide opportunity for carers to learn about services and supports that focus on health and wellbeing, and to connect with other carers to share their stories. Most importantly carers will be able to connect with the broader community and learn about social participation
